By purchasing a PRP you ensure that if any electronic breakdowns happen within your coverage period you just need to bring the unit in to any GameStop location with your proof of purchase and we will exchange it for you. You can find full details here.
How does the Product Replacement Plan work?
If your eligible system or accessory is defective due to normal use and has been covered with a PRP then it can be exchanged once within the covered period. We do not service the systems or controllers so you don’t have to wait – you get a replacement on the spot!
You can go to any GameStop location to complete your exchange. An original receipt for the hardware purchased must be presented indicating that a PRP has been purchased for that hardware – identified through the serial number.
Worried you might lose your receipt? Check out our Edge Program! When you use your loyalty account at checkout we will keep records of your transactions for you. Just reach out to our customer service team and we will recover your receipt for you before you visit the store.
All systems must be returned complete in their original packaging with all applicable manuals, cables and accessories.
