We offer a few ways to shop for the busy holiday season.
You can Buy online for Pick-up in store (BOPS)
You can order for home delivery.
If you visit a store location and they do not have what you are looking for ask them about Web in store, they will help you place an order to be delivered to your home.
We also offer Pre-orders for in store pick-up and home delivery.
Remember for pre-orders We do our very best to ensure our street dates are as accurate as possible. However, street dates can change for a variety of reasons. If you Pre-order an item set to release between now and the end of the year, please note we cannot guarantee release before Christmas.

We care about you and that’s why we work tirelessly to bring you the best kick ass deals throughout the year and especially leading into the ‘make merry’ season.

We don’t want you to be full of regret so here are a few things to remember:

Returns & Exchanges
As a thank you for shopping with us through the holiday season we extend our return policy during the holidays. Anything you buy after November 1st can be returned or exchanged until January 12th

If you aren’t 100% sure the gift you bought or the item, you purchased is the perfect choice keep it sealed and hold on to the receipt.
We can return or exchange it for you any time before January 12th. If you need a gift receipt, make sure to ask for one at checkout in store.
I’m sure you understand, due to increased volumes our stores cannot process returns on Boxing Day and the following day as well as ….
Any digital code, trading card and clearance item purchase is final sale and cannot be exchanged or refunded once issued you can find all details on final sale items here
Shipping
If you want to be sure to get your item in time for Christmas check out our cutoff dates here.
You can find our standard delivery times here and we will keep this information updated based on shipping volumes and any additional delays through the holiday season. Please check on this page before you order to make sure you will get your delivery in time.
Please note: Due to increased volume carried over to all couriers from the current Canada Post strike delivery times are currently 3-5 business days longer than usual.
Our warehouse is open Monday – Friday and we process Express orders in 1 business day and Regular orders within 3 business days. As volume picks up closer to the holiday season this could change we will update our shipping information page daily.
If you placed an order with us and after 3 business days you have not receive a shipping confirmation, there is a problem. Please reach out to our fantastic customer service team and we will investigate and get everything moving for you.
Please remember as we head into the busy season our courier partners also get quite busy and shipping delays can be a bit longer than usual. Find our updated shipping time frames here
Please note that delivery to PO boxes and rural/remote areas serviced only by Canada Post will be delayed due to a Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) national strike. Learn more
Payment
If you received a message informing you there has been an issue processing your payment this can happen for a few reasons.
Usually this occurs because financial institution put a temporary block on the payment in order to make sure it’s a legitimate transaction. Please contact them first and ensure you have the payment unblocked. Once this is done you can call us back or send us an email to help@gamestop.ca letting us know it is ok to try the payment again.
